Twyl's Revenge - Life Colossus

This is a concept illustration called "Twyl's Revenge", the life colossus for the RIFT Create a Colossus Contest.

After numerous defeats at the hands of the Guardians and Defiants, Greenscale and his minions were growing more desperate to achieve their goals. Seeking a truly devastating weapon, they embarked on an ambitious plan. In desperation, they turned their machinations to the remains of one of their fallen. Twyl, slain by the hands of the Guardians, was reborn through the powers of the Life Dragon. Twyl was granted strength and power and his lust for vengeance was nurtured to the point of obsession. Hoping to control their monster, Twyl was collared with a collar of thorns whose roots extend into Twyl's mind and his glowing heart of Life Wine. Let loose upon Telara, Twyl the Reborn now rampages across the land unleashing his rage upon all in his path.

Attacks:

Blessing of Life: Twyl sinks his organic hands into the earth, causing tendrils to sprout about the battle field, spraying his enemies with Life Wine; intoxicating them to the point of paralysis. His satyr minions then swarm about slaughtering his foes.

Swept Clean: Twyl swings his massive sword in a complete circle, dealing massive damage to those around him. The Life Wine imbued in his sword infects those contacted, putting them in a state of confusion.
